rumiandshit:

I don’t understand. I try my hardest to ignore the blatant ignorance and arrogance of people that use this site to spew their hate and intolerance but once in a while it gets to be too much.

You want to be a student of knowledge? Then learn to read the Qur’an from an unbiased standpoint. Learn to use your own mind to gain an understanding of what is written without repeating back what you’ve heard from so-and-so. Knowledge is not the ability to repeat back to me what you’ve learned from someone else, knowledge is having a grasp of the information and being able to use that to come to a conclusion of your own.

You want to claim that you’re following the righteous predecessors? Then act like them. When a word or statement leaves your mouth make sure it is something that they would be proud of and the Prophet would not reproach you for. Did he encourage you to speak badly about someone else behind their back? Did his Sunnah inspire you to hate, badmouth, attack, deny, lie, expose, insult or call someone out of their name? If so, you need to go back and reread everything about him. He was kind, sincere and loving not cruel.

You say that you are following the best of Muslims? Then why are your actions giving off the opposite of that? Where are your manners? Where is your respect for a fellow Muslim? Where is your cherishing of their feelings? Where have you hidden the best of the Muslims inside of you? Let their actions show through you because they aren’t right now.

You want to attack a Muslim because of their sexual orientation or tell their parents about their sexual orientation? Well, that’s cool. Please tell me more about how you are a shining example of Islam and the pious believers that understood that they had no say over where someone went in the akhira, that knew that their hiding the flaws or mistakes of others would end with Allah covering theirs on the day of judgement.

Go ahead and continue to spread your hateful messages, your condescending nasihah and call yourself a representative of Islam because Islam and Allah do not need us, we need them and through Allah and Islam the truth will surface. Your disagreement with someone doesn’t make them wrong, your misinterpretations of an ayah doesn’t change its meaning and your messages do nothing but further fuel other Muslims to be better, kinder and stronger.

Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissssssss
