I think it’s so sweet of Islamic schools, masajid and other Muslim institutions to take women into consideration and either add an area on for them (that’s not as nice as the one for men but HEY beggars can’t be choosers, right???) or actually fix up the women’s side of the building (and add a fan, not AC though because that’s for the men also). I also think it’s sweet of everyone to applaud them for even thinking about the women that might want to learn or come to the masjid and sit in comfort because everyone knows that isn’t just part of basic manners or a simple expression of equality within the Muslim community. No, that’s newsworthy, that’s something we should thank them for and that’s something they didn’t have to do but did anyway.
